About the Role
The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for various manufacturing processes on production parts. The functions are performed in adherence with the pre-established process sheets and procedures that identify the manufacturing practices specific to each type of part that is being manufactured to ensure and maintain lot integrity.
What You Get to Do
- Complete work according to process sheet instructions, in a tightly controlled environment
- Test work results and document part parameters by completing the process sheet
- Manufacturing processes may include: Sanding Bench Procedure, Scrubbing DBC procedure, Via Fill Procedure, Via Drill Procedure, Dice Mounting Procedure, and DBC Photolithography
- Follow all safety protocols
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Cross-train as requested in other areas of the company
About You
- Must be able to work in a sitting or standing position for up to 10 hours.
- Must be able to wear a lab coat, spittle mask, and gloves while working.
- The position requires working with chemicals, measuring devices, ultrasonic devices, and microscopes. Individuals must have previous experience working in a similar environment.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate extremely high levels of precision and accuracy.
- High School Diploma or GED

About the Role
The Plating Line Lead Operator is responsible for set up, operation, as well as mechanical and chemical maintenance of an automated electrolytic plating line. These functions are performed in adherence with pre-established standard operating procedures (SOPs), process sheets as well as equipment and chemical manufacturer’s instructions, and under the supervision of Engineering and Production Management.
What You Get to Do
- Responsible for maintaining and operating an automated electrolytic plating line primarily with Ni/Au chemistry
- Perform weekly and daily bath analysis, adjust chemistry based on SOP
- Record analyses and adjustments in SPC charts
- Replace chemicals and filters as needed
- Perform return-to-production procedures after maintenance
- General Troubleshooting
- Operate plating line according to SOPs, including:
- Load/Unload parts into the plating equipment
- Operate plating equipment
- Clean the parts that are processed in the plating line
- Perform visual evaluation of the plated parts
- Perform various tests such as x-ray fluorescence, electrical continuity, and high-pot
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Proactively propose improvements regarding equipment, chemistry, and SOPs
- Adhere to the highest safety standards to set an example for Plating Operators
About You
- 4+ years of plating experience
- Position requires working with chemicals, measuring instruments, and microscopes
- Work independently within the manufacturing team
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrate very high levels of precision and accuracy
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate equipment and tools
- Ability to wear a lab coat, spittle mask, and gloves while working
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- High School Diploma or GED

About the Role
The Production Manager leads the manufacturing operation to make Stellar’s products on time, with high quality, and at low cost. The responsibilities include day-to-day manufacturing execution and staff supervision, production planning, continuous improvement activities, as well as developing strategic production roadmaps and budgets. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual who is looking to make an impact on a dynamic organization.

- Responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and developing all staff in the Production Department, including Production Supervisors and Production Planners
- Manage production planning and execution to meet safety, quality, on-time, and cost KPIs
- As a key member of senior management, support the organization’s strategic and tactical goals
- Develop programs and standards for operational procedures, structure, working practices, staff training, and process digitization
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement activities, using Lean manufacturing techniques
- Responsible for developing and managing the $1M+ production department budget for cost-efficient operations
- Collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure manufacturing equipment is kept in an operational state of readiness
- Support Engineering initiatives to introduce new products, as well as design and process changes
- Cooperate with the Quality department to execute an integrated quality control program, on the quality of end products, and troubleshoot specific quality problems
- Ensure all safety and health standards are met to maintain an accident-free organization
About You
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing supervisory position
- Leadership skills to ensure employee collaboration throughout the organization
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), detail-oriented, self-assured, tactful
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, using techniques such as 8D
- Industry experience in a process manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated and applied knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts
- Proficiency with at least one MRP system, BI reporting tools, and office applications, in particular, Excel
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 or other certification standards
- Experience with metalized ceramics products or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, either in engineering/manufacturing or a related field or a suitable combination of education and work experience

About the Role
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the coordination and development of quality control aspects within the organization. Her/his duties will include but are not limited to the development, implementation, and standardization of new processes and quality initiatives. Ensure the quality of company products and processes in all applicable areas.

- Coordination of all Quality Assurance aspects within respective departments

- Development of inspection plans, statistical process analysis, and control

- Responsible for Key Figure maintenance, communication of results, coordination of improvement efforts, and goals settings
- Assistance in Vendor Quality Management
- Develops project plans while incorporating both short and long-term strategies, manages project team activities, communicates changes and progress to team members, maintains data and reports to track progress, monitors work to ensure quality, and completes projects on time and budget
- Other related duties as designated by the manager
About You
A minimum of 3-5 years prior experience in a similar position is required. Must have a strong working knowledge of quality control and manufacturing equipment and processes. Professional certifications such as 6 Sigma Green/Black Belt are preferred. Must be able to handle multiple projects across the organization and provide leadership to, collaborate, and work with employees at varying levels of seniority. MS Office applications and data analysis software experience are required. Must exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and gain the respect of other employees. Familiarity with Stellar Industries products is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years technical degree (manufacturing/mechanical engineering) or a suitable combination of education and work experience. A bachelor/graduate degree with relevant coursework is preferred.

About the Role
The Shipping Receiving Associate is responsible for processing all company incoming and outgoing shipments.
What You Get to Do
- Receive incoming materials and confirm the packing list is accurate based on the part and quantity received
- Document incoming shipments on Power BI One Time Starts, receive purchase orders in Realtrac purchasing software
- Deliver materials or move materials to a holding area and notify the correct person of the material receipt
- Maintain the electronic shipment schedule based on completed customer parts that will ship in accordance with specified customer delivery dates
- Ensure the correct packaging of materials for safe shipment
- Generate a daily ship list that identifies customer job number and quantity to be shipped in advance of shipment for billing coordination
- Determine the method of shipment based on customer order and arrange to ship; prepare shipper letter of instructions, packing list, and other shipping documents, manually or by computer
- Monitor shipping supplies weekly and submit the completed requisition form to the Purchasing Department
- Track missing incoming/outgoing shipments as needed and contact freight provider if needed
- Daily house maintenance of the shipping/receiving area to remove all trash, and cardboard, and keep the floor clean of debris
- Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across the office for various needs
About You
- Previous experience in the manufacturing supply chain. Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications and prior computer experience. Ability to prioritize workload.
