Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows
Apply basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned routine engineering problems
Implement new processes and process modifications to manufacture parts with maximum efficiency, low scrap, and high yield
Perform functional testing of equipment and systems by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles
Conduct risk assessments
Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards
Support the R&D process and participate in prototype part development, production, and analysis
Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
Communicates findings and proposals to upper management
Process Engineer Qualifications/Skills
Excellent analytical and math skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems
Ability to project manage
1-2 years experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
